Kroff Well Services, Inc. to Offer Water Treatment Workshop Presentation at Emerging North American Shale Plays Conference
PITTSBURGH, January 5, 2012
- Kroff, Inc., one of the fastest-growing water treatment companies in the United States, is pleased to announce that Dave Grottenthaler, general manager of Kroff Well Services, Inc., will offer his expertise on water treatment procedures that allow for safe and effective reuse of frac water flowback during a workshop at the Emerging North American Shale Plays conference (January 11-13, 2012 at the Grand Hyatt Denver, in Denver, CO). The workshop, titled "Cost Efficient Solutions for Hydro Fracturing" will be held Friday, January 13 from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and will provide attendees with cutting-edge information on strategies and technological advancements available to minimize the environmental impacts of shale drilling.
"Those looking to explore economic opportunities in gas drilling need to be cognizant of ever-changing environmental regulations for water use and reuse," said Grottenthaler. "This educational workshop offers valuable information from top water and environmental engineering experts about cost-effective solutions for frac fluid designs and flowback treatment technologies."
Grottenthaler has three decades of experience in water and wastewater treatment and now focuses his efforts on frac fluid designs and water remediation for reuse in the oil and gas industry. His knowledge of fluid design formulation and water treatment quality for safe and effective reuse of frac water provides a dual perspective from both sides of critical water issues, offering environmental and effective approaches to the shale gas extraction process.
Emerging North American Shale Plays offers insight about various emerging oil and gas plays across North America at different stages of development. Attendees with have opportunities to network with industry experts as well as receive valuable information about investing in emerging shale plays.
